EM

Em is a portrait of my mother composed of three themes: her favorite colors, what she loves above all else, her Western and Chinese zodiac signs, and her favorite flower, which is the Myosotis. The sculpture is made of resin and embedded with optical fibers, a unique technique in the world practiced only by Sculi, and is registered with the INPI. The sculpture is part of the Cosmomorphism movement, which is based on the principle of bringing together several works within a single piece. Here, it is applied in layers, with a composition of shapes, pictorial drawings made with pigments, and light drawings embedded in the material.
