About this work

Em is a portrait of my mother composed of three themes: her favorite colors, what she loves above all, her Western and Chinese zodiac signs, her favorite flower which is the Myosotis. The sculpture is made of resin and embedded with optical fibers, a unique technique in the world practiced only by Sculi, which is registered with the INPI. The sculpture is part of the Cosmomorphism movement, which is based on the principle of bringing together several works within the same piece. This is applied here in layers, with a composition of shapes, pictorial drawings made with pigments, and light drawings embedded in the material.
