About this work

Torsade is a seaweed, a mermaid woman portrait. The sculpture is made of resin and embedded with optical fibers, a unique technique in the world only practiced by Sculi, which is registered at the INPI. The sculpture is part of the Cosmomorphism movement, which aims to bring together several works within the same piece. It is applied here through layers that unfold through a composition of shapes, pictorial drawings made with pigments, and light drawings embedded in the material.
