The diagonals structure the space and fragment the composition, while the touches of blue bring a subtle depth. Erasure becomes a pictorial language here: it does not mask the woman but renders her elusive, suspended between presence and absence. The work questions the fragility of identity, the persistence of memory, and how an image is constructed as much by what is shown as by what disappears. This painting oscillates between abstraction and figuration, leaving the viewer free to reconstruct the figure in the spaces left open by the material and the gesture.
